NOOPE 0.1.0 released
11-Sep-2001
Posted by James Kermode

The first version of NOOPE has been released today. It supports loading a description of entities and laws from a file then running the simulation on them. Laws of physics that have been implemented so far include gravity and collisions.

NOOPE is the Newtonian Object Oriented Physics Engine. It is an open-source project to design and implement an extensible physics engine that can be used to model the motion of particles under the laws of Newtonian physics. NOOPE is implemented in Java.
